A special moment: a new beginning for Vredehout
On August 14, we gathered with local residents, the architect, the contractor Averesch, and the project team to witness the demolition of the old building.
The concrete structure was demolished in spectacular fashion using a hydraulic shear.
With this symbolic step, the completion of 68 new rental apartments in the heart of the Houtwijk neighborhood is getting closer and closer. There was a lot of interest and a great atmosphere—we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the neighborhood for that.
